Jamie Stevenson – Non Executive Director

Jamie, appointed a non executive Director in April 2007, was previously a top-rated equity research analyst focusing on the construction sector. He worked for twenty years as an analyst in the City for a number of firms including Wood Mackenzie, Savory Milln and Dresdner Kleinwort. For ten consecutive years between 1987 and 1998 he was ranked No 1 Building Materials analyst in the Extel, Reuters, Institutional Investor and other major investor surveys. He was latterly Head of Equities Research at Dresdner Kleinwort from 1997 to 2003.

Prior to entering the City, he was an Economic Advisor to the House Builders’ Federation and Economics Director for the Building Employers’ Confederation.

Jamie was also previously a Non-Executive Director at McCarthy & Stone plc, the UK’s leading retirement housebuilder. He is also a part time teaching fellow in Finance at the University of Exeter.

Jamie is a member of both the Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee.
