ISG Retail and Leisure operates within a service delivery industry, where all our actions and reactions can have a positive or negative effect on our ultimate objectives. Accordingly our investment in training, personal development programmes and continual improvement is exemplary.
Through our Joinery Academy, centred in Whitstable, we are committed to maintaining our core skill base through CITB accredited apprenticeship schemes. Novices progress through all joinery craft, continuing into site based fixers, with many advancing to Site Managers and ultimately into Contracts Managers. Coupled with this is the ISG award-winning Academy based in Aldgate House. This provides employees with structured development opportunities including:
- A comprehensive range of courses to satisfy the development needs of our staff, as identified in their personal management plans
- Structured career progression providing a signposted career path within the company and the Group itself
- An executive development programme for the future leaders of the business
- An emerging leader programme in conjunction with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) leading to chartered membership
