Training and development
Our people are our greatest asset. We identify and fully support our staff needs
for development, training and career progression. ISG’s award-winning Academy is
committed to offering all of our employees opportunities for challenging, relevant
and meaningful work based learning experiences to equip them for a world where education
and work are increasingly intertwined.
As central to this mission, the Academy adopts a positive, progressive approach
to our staff development and continues to develop innovative ways to connect work
with training. We have developed two structures based around competency and career
pathways which, in conjunction with our performance feedback process, help to identify
each individual’s specific training and development needs. Learning programmes are
set up that help employees to excel in their existing role, lead to career progression
and enhance lifelong learning.
Our supply chain and other stakeholders are invited to attend courses and other
development activities to enhance our ability to all work together. Forums are held
on a regular basis to exchange ideas and information and to establish and update
best practice.
