Training and development
ISG Jackson has established its own academy to develop and train its most important
asset - its staff. Our excellent training facilities at Jackson House enable us
to not only keep our own staff up-to-date with the latest developments within the
construction industry, but also to extend this offering to our clients and supply
chain members.
In addition to the development programme we operate a significant training programme
for all of our staff which allows an average of four days’ training per employee
across the business. We have established a training partnership with the Chartered
Institute of Building (CIOB) and support staff in attaining membership of the CIOB
or the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), as applicable.
We operate three management development programmes and have established a very effective
management trainee programme. The programme draws upon those leaving school with
good A-level results, or those with degrees in construction or other subjects and
provides unrivalled education and experience-gaining opportunities.
We also have a programme for developing the next generation of site managers. This
allows those with some industry experience to 'step up' to a role and be part of
a team engaged in constructing some of the most significant buildings in the central
Midlands, east and south east England.
