ISG off to a sustainable start on IG Group fit out

Tuesday 4, May 2010

ISG has commenced the fit of new headquarters for IG Group, a world leader in financial derivatives trading. The £3.3 million project in Cannon Bridge House encompasses the fit out of two floors totalling 70,000 sq ft and includes a roof-top plant upgrade and basement works.

ISG and IG Group are placing high emphasis on reuse and recycling on the project and have set a target to either reuse or recycle 90% of all materials used in the fit out.

The strip out of the old interior has already been put to good use with many materials, including numerous solid timber doors donated to
London based charity St Mungos. The charity will use the materials in their Wood Works workshop, which is also supported by Westminster Council, assisting homeless people to gain new skills and confidence and work towards gaining employment.

The project to fit out the new office will be completed in summer 2010.
