Alex

Alex is a Construction Management student from Nottingham Trent University who recently spent his sandwich year working with us in ISG London’s Refurbishment division. During his stay Alex had the opportunity to work with the team refurbishing Royal Festival Hall.

“I received hands on experience which I wanted for my year out. It was structured by the targets set out in the placement year itinerary but there was also the flexibility to go and look into different areas which interest me,” said Alex.

“I gained a lot of life experience as well as job experience and have become more mature as a result. I learnt more about management skills and communication on site between all trades in order to complete tasks and this will be priceless for my final year and after graduating when I hope to become a Construction Manager.”
