Sustainability
ISG recognises that sustainability is a much broader topic than environmental management.
In creating our sustainability strategy we have embraced the three pillars of sustainability
– bringing together the philosophy that social equity (people), environmental protection
(planet) and economic growth (prosperity) are interrelated and integral to sustainable
development.
Our sustainability strategy encompasses all areas where we have direct influence,
for example, our offices and temporary project site establishments. It also addresses
our responsibilities and capabilities where we have the opportunity to influence
others, for example in the design and operation of the buildings we deliver. ISG
has adopted the following mission statement to guide our sustainability initiatives:
"If we do the right thing now by the people and planet
we will all prosper, and we will not compromise what others can do in the future."
